StoryboardingJon Maybury is the founder of Rethinking Transport and is experienced in all three types of smart ticketing deployed in the rail industry: smartcard / ITSO, contactless payment cards (CPCs) and mobile / barcode ticketing, and now in Account Based Ticketing using any of those media. Jon’s involvement has not only been at the strategic level, working with Owning Groups considering how to leverage the benefits for their business; but also at a detailed technical level, where Jon has been active in the writing of technical standards and in practical implementations in the field, with all of the associated operational challenges.
